WHAT IS A BALL'S CLOCK?

Whenever a player hits a ball he/she hits at a particular point to make it clearly understood I will divide the ball in a clocked manner where the upper part of the ball will be 12'0 clocks whereas the lower will be 6'o clocks

In the image as you can clearly see the following

Topspin     -    12'o clock
Brush        -     2'o clock
Counter    -      3'o clock
Push         -      5'o clock
Cut           -      6'o clock

To make the players understand where to hit on a ball I will be using the ball's clock concept to make it clear for the viewers of this blog.
