- A ball hitting the center of the Racket - At the initial level, it's very important to always hit the ball at the center of the racket which will increase the feel of the racket and the contact of the ball on the racket. while doing this practice it's not to see the ball hitting the racket at the center, one can easily feel the ball at the center of the racket even when you close the eyes
- The angle of the Racket - The angle of the racket is very important at an early stage, it gets a little tough to understand whats the proper angle for a particular ball as it's tough to read the ball and see the rotation of the ball at the start so once you start playing the basic strokes at a proper angle than easily you can develop advance shots. advance shots are nothing other than a good base
- Timing of the Ball - Every particular ball needs to hit at a particular time it goes the same with angle once your timing is improved in table tennis advanced shots are too simple to play
- Body Position (placing of your hands, elbow, knee, leg, etc). - I would recommend all the players who want to start playing table tennis to join a coaching center instead of investing in the equipment. If you start table tennis with good body positions and actions you will go far in the game. If anyone wants to develop the game (actions) through himself he should have a good breathing technique which I have covered in another post.
- Playing the strokes effectively and effortlessly ( means any drill you can easily play 100 balls on the table) - At the base level of the game, one needs to only focus on keeping as many balls on the table instead of winning the game by playing too aggressive or showing the power and speed to the opponent. if he develops to play in rhythm and with a good technique he will naturally understand the game in a much better manner and will eventually lead to winning the game.
