IMPORTANCE OF SKIPPING IN TABLE TENNIS

Skipping is very important in table tennis as it's the most integral part. below I am mentioning the step-by-step importance of skipping.  1. LEG GAME : More or less you believe it or not table tennis is a leg game, not a hand game.     The very initial stage of the game starts with the hand and slowly and steadily as our body adopts the game, our legs come more and more into the picture. 2. MAKING THE LEGS LIGHT : Skipping makes the legs very light which helps a player to move more quickly in the game. Light legs help the body to reach near the body effectively and eventually support our body to play the strokes effectively, 3. LEG MUSCLES: Skipping helps the leg muscles to grow so that the legs don't get fatigued during the play. 4. JUMP: Every ball in the game is hit after a jump. A Jump in the game involves 3 important aspects      Back throw - point of contact and follow-through. every game covers these 3 aspects same is with table tennis. 5. S...

TIMING OF THE BALL

Timing of the ball is very important to develop the game's very technical  A player with good timing of the ball can survive in a tough match  to make the viewers of this blog understand which ball should be hit at what timing I will be using the below concepts as follows  In the Image, as you can see numbers are written, each number denotes the following Too Early Early Top Late Too Late I will be using the number to explain when to hit a particular type of ball throughout this blog. for e.g Counter is hit at 3              Push is hit at 2

WHAT IS A BALL'S CLOCK?

Whenever a player hits a ball he/she hits at a particular point to make it clearly understood I will divide the ball in a clocked manner where the upper part of the ball will be 12'0 clocks whereas the lower will be 6'o clocks In the image as you can clearly see the following Topspin     -    12'o clock Brush        -     2'o clock  Counter    -      3'o clock Push         -      5'o clock Cut           -      6'o clock To make the players understand where to hit on a ball I will be using the ball's clock concept to make it clear for the viewers of this blog.

HOW TO DO JOGGING AND IMPROVE YOUR BODY STRUCTURE

Hello everyone today's topic is very close to my heart and lots of things which I have achieved have been accomplished only by the topic which I will be sharing in this post    REGULARITY - first of all it's very important to give a proper dedicated time for this. You cant do this stuff in 5 or 10 mins. you can do jogging in 5 or 10 mins but through that, the core and the body structure will not have any impact. One should at least give 30 to 1 hour for jogging and that too should be regular. If you are regular enough then 20 mins will also work for you  STRENGTH TRAINING -  In the start, you need to give more time for jogging, and slowly as you continue for a longer period of time you can cut down the time and focus on strength training  SLOW JOG -  The most important skill one should follow is to jog as slowly as he/she can. The main aim while jogging is not to do in speed or to just run. The main focus while doing jogging is to jump more and go les...
